Mr. Shoon So Oo

Shoon So Oo has joined WWF Myanmar after working with Myanmar government for more than five years. His current responsibilities include national policy advocacy, state-level energy access program and implementing pilot projects with sustainable solutions. He has background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Energy and Environmental Management. He was a proud participant of energy assessment and planning for rural off-grid area in Knoydart, Scotland, planning and executing alternative solar energy projects for Peru, Philippines and Bangladesh. His time with Ministry of Energy in Nay Pyi Taw, he had worked on EIA/SIA evaluation, Public Private Partnerships for state-owned facilities with domestic/international partners.
