Dr. Marlar Myo Nyunt

Marlar Myo Nyunt (Dr.) is a Director of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration under the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development. She served as lecturer in Yangon Institute Economics from 1994 to 2012. In 2012, she was transferred from Ministry of Education to Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development. She received Bachelor of Economics from Yangon Institute Economics in 1991. She got Master of Economics from Yangon Institute Economics in 1998. She pursued Master of Arts in International Development from International University of Japan in 2004. She received Ph.D (Economics) from Yangon Institute Economics in 2013. Currently, she serves as Director in Investment Promotion Division at Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, and she has been participating many international seminars and meetings related to investment, and ASEAN affairs. She is married and has only one son.
